Hi, what to do to be able to play quicktime videos in firefox-3.0.10?
When I go to http://www.apple.com/mac/ and try to play the video, it says "QuickTime required. Free download" and takes me to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/, where I can't find a version for Linux.
Thanks |

Install gecko-mediaplayer. And ensure that mplayer is emerged with the quicktime USE flag. _________________ emerge --quiet redefined | E17 vids: I, II | Now using kde5 | e is unstable :-/ |

pls help | If you want to play the video within firefox (like a plugin) you need to install gecko-mediaplayer. If you want to play the video in an external window, then you need to use the fileselector dialog and navigate to /usr/bin and choose mplayer or any other player from the list. _________________ emerge --quiet redefined | E17 vids: I, II | Now using kde5 | e is unstable :-/ |
