| I installed gnome and evolution, but when I run evolution as a normal user the wizard does not appear (i deleted the evolution folder from the user dir serveral times too) and when i try to select a mail folder it wont let me into it. It doesnt have any error messages, the cursor just blinks back to the folder i was previously at. |

you can try:

rm -rf ~/evolution
killev
su -
[enter password]
killev #again
