AFAIK, yes. The worst that can happen is you would have to emerge ___-sources again. (Unless you rm -r /, in which case things are much worse.)
But, the better question: why? _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

du -hs /usr/src/linux/arch reports 34M on my system (if that is the directory you are referring to. du -hs i386 reports the i386 dir using 6.9M. Not much savings... how small is your drive? _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.

im have sources for kernel 2.4.19-gentoo-r7&r1 and 2.5.25 installed.
i get 45M for arch on 2.5.25 and
i get 37M for arch on 2.4.19-gentoo-r7 and
i get 28M for arch on 2.4.19-r1
=110M
respectively, the i386 directory of these are :
14M
8.7M
1.9M
= 24.6
so i can delete 85.4M of useless(to me) data? my src directory is on a small(650M) partition on a drive i share as a storage drive. why go through the trouble of resizing the partiton or anything else for that matter if i can just delete some sources that ill never use? |

Sounds good... I was just curious. _________________ I can saw a woman in two, but you won't want to look in the box when I'm through.
