I have a toshiba 5105-S501 and is well know this computer with the acpi patch maxes the processor so I installed the beta kernel 2.5.66. Everything works except when I try to install the nvidia driver I get:
lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
lsmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
depmod: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
What am I doing wrong in the kerrnel config. If possible can someone also post their config file if they have the same computer since I am sure other people have done this better than me. Thanks for any help. |

you need to update module-init-tools.
Code: |
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge -pv module-init-tools
