running claws-mail 3.7.1 , I get the following message:

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module": libpk-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Apparently this is a gtk module which I don't have in my /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules directory. Anyone know if there is an ebuild that contains this module? It doesn't seem to affect anything I want to do with claws-mail, but it is only quite recently that I am getting this message, probably due to an upgrade, so I would like to track down the cause.

Ok thanks. It would appear that packagekit is not compatible with portage which is why it is not included in the Gentoo portfolio. But it seems a bit odd that a mailer should be checking into it (or trying to) on a regular basis. Anyhow, I will let sleeping dogs lie as long as no problems come up.

I maintain Claws Mail for Gentoo...so you woke up the dogs. :)

Anyway, there is no reference to PackageKit in the Claws source code, so I am curious why you get those messages. What plugins do you have installed?
