I have a Debian server connected to my UPS, and running upsd/ups-monitor . Is it possible to monitor it from x11-plugins/gkrellmbups ? how to set it up ?
I tried the server "server", and the upsc syntax "ups@server", and both fail.
I have no clue which command this plugin is trying to run; so, I have no way to test it myself.
The only thing I know is that gkrellm by default tried to open port 3493, and that this port is open on my server.
I don't know if I shall using the profile "remote belkin UPS" or "network UPS tools monitored UPS" ...
To view the state of my UPs from Gentoo wworkstation:
Code: | dhp@moon-gen-3:~$ upsc mgeups_a@leon
battery.capacity: 5.00
battery.charge: 100
[...]
ups.vendorid: 0463
dhp@moon-gen-3:~$ |
