Evolution and MS Exchange2007 server

Hi there,

I'm trying to setup my evolution mail client to get mail from Exchange and I don't have any success. Any suggestions?

you need OWA (to configure iphone eg. or generally something that is not outlook, because we then use activesync) activated on the server-side, and your account should be set 'mobile', also, check sp1 is installed, and check how to install the certificate (https) on your client
sometimes url is https://server.tld/owa on 2k7

I do have owa configured, but evolution keeps telling me to check URL to owa, on the Exchange server I do see that my linux box is getting there. But I get error messages from evolution over and over, where are the log files that are created by evolution if there are any log files? Thx

OWA doesn't work with Evolution for Exchange 2007. I guess there needs to be an updated evolution plugin for Exchange 2007.

You'll have to resort to IMAP/SMTP. This is what I had to do unfortunately until it gets sorted via OWA.

I was afraid that this would be the answer. Thanx anyway, so I'll have to wait until Evolution updates its plugin. Hope this update will come soon.
