i tried to emerge php and this is what it gave me:

root@Image image # emerge php

i've browsed the forums abit and didnt find anything relating to this, sorry if this is double posted...

i've checked my env and this is what is says:
JAVA_HOME=/opt/blackdown-jre-1.4.1
if that has any relavance to anything

Be sure 'java-config' is set correctly. Check out the man page and the "Gentoo Java Guide" ( http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/java.xml )

mmm..seemed my jdk libary wasnt defined...
if any oneelse runs into the same problem.. just use following command to define it.: java-config --set-system-vm=blackdown-jdk-1.4.1
