i've searched the forums and gawked at the documentation but i cant find the answer to my question. is there a way to do something like
emerge [query] {world}
to see what ebuilds are installed? i am wanting to see how much stuff i have installed so i know what i can unmerge. thanx. |

emerge epm then type:
That should give you a list of all packages installed in your system. Or, you could just look in /var/db/pkg/
