Hi!
Suddenly the cuddly tux logo has disappeared.
Not sure if this was with kernel update to 2.6.28 or the recent 2.6.29.

Hello Martux!,
Do you know if you have "video=318" (for example) in /boot/grb/grub.conf ? (in the same line of your kernel's location)

You need to activate the framebuffer. The Gentoo Handbook covers that topic here, under the heading: Optional: Framebuffer. |

Thanks for all answers.
I had the framebuffer already activated correctly.
What I forgot was the vga= option
Now i can see the nice Tasmanian Devil logo. _________________ "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous."
