so i have did spyder's gnome beautification techniques. that is, i emerged some of the themes and stuff available. i also downloaded some from sunshineinabag.co.uk.
problem is, i only have 4 themes as choices in my gnome-control-center, but i have 7 themes in my /usr/share/metacity/themes folder.
any ideas on how i can use those other themes. i only downloaded 2 themes outside of what got emerged so even one of those isn't showing up. |

| well, if i use gconftool or gconf-editor, i can change the themes. but if i use the desktop preferences->themes doo dad in my applications menus, it doesn't install 50% of the themes i try. any reasons why that is? |
