Weeve,
Is the only change in the new LiveCD the addition of the ethernet drivers? Just wondering if its worth stopping my current build to start fresh with the new CD.
Thanks.

Yeah, I just rebuilt the kernels with some extra modules.
If you try using the older LiveCD you originally started with, does this problem still happen? I am using a testing kernel so it could be related to that. |

Right now I'm using the Aug-11 LiveCD. The only other issue I've had, other then the one in the previous thread, is that during bootstrap, the system did not find /dev/stderr several times. I'm content with stoping and starting emerge as needed for this system. I was more interested in the system I'm going to start building this evening, if it would be better to use this latest CD, or use the Aug-11 that I've already burned to disk.
Thanks Weeve.

Gotcha.
If I get some time I'll bang on it and see if I can't reproduce it. |
