Hi there
I've got another thread going but it's old so i wanted to post this question here.Hope that allright.I'm trying to set up wireless and i've got to the stage where the drivers are installed , the output of dmesg shows the card is being detected, the microcode files are installed, wpa_supplicant is installed and configured. But when i do:
Code:

/etc/init.d/net.wlan0 start

I get a message about there being no /etc/init.d/net.wlan0 file or directory
Since then i have done:
Code:

ln -s net.lo net.wlan0

But after this change is a reboot or restart of network services needed?
Thankx in advance

Please do not make multiple topics for the same problem, at best it leads to duplication of effort on the part of those attempting to render assistance.

Moved from Networking & Security to Duplicate Threads, refer to "iwl3945 questions", and perhaps the guidelines.
