Come sapete sono una stordita cronica, per cui come al solito ho un problema cretino che non riesco a risolvere.
Il mio cdrom non dà segni di vita, ne con cd dati ne con musicali.

Vederlo lo vede... resta da capire come é mappato... da quanto tempo hai questo problema e cosa hai fatto nel frattempo?

(lo chiedo perché a vedere quelle due linee mi farebbe pensare che hai qualche modulo del kernel di troppo.... tipo l'emulazione SCSI per i CDROM)

Da quando un amico ha messo le mani nel kernel.... fra le varie ho trovato ATA/ATAPI... disattivato e lo ho riattivato io nel kernel sperando che servisse. Ho controllato e SCSI CDROM SUPPORT non è abilitato.
