I am running...
P 2.4
512 DDR
GeforceFX 5600 ultra (256 DDR)
533 FSB
I only get 2700fps on a standard instance of glxgears, where people are getting nearly 4000fps with geforce 4 ti4200's.
Secondly, has anyone got the frame buffer working for the 5600? |

how else would i get 2700?, i dont think there is a system out there that can do that number without hardware acceleration. So, yes, its running. |

glxgears results depends a lot on the cpu charge (for instance you get better results under fluxbox than under kde !), maybe you have processes that do some work
Also, the figures drop when using fsaa & other stuff like it. |
