Where's OOo 1.1RC2? It's not even in the ~x86 branch, is there a specific reason for that?

atm OOo doesnt have a maintainer, so its not gonna get updated unless someone jumps in and tries to figure out the ebuilds themselves

| Oh, that surprises me. Probably the most important application for the average user doesn't have a maintainer - now that could be a reason why Gentoo will remain a system for, uhm, specialists? What's your opinion on that? |

Gentoo does have active maintainers for OpenOffice. You can find the latest ebuilds for OpenOffice that haven't yet made their way into the Portage tree via ViewCVS.
