Hi folks.

I have Hp Pavilion dv5t laptop with 3GB RAM memory installed. I don't use more than 1GB very often, so that's why I didn't notice it earlier, but..it seems that gentoo does recognize only 1GB of my RAM. (Windows is allright, so this is not hardware problem).
Let me show you:
Code:

top - 16:59:53 up 18 min,  2 users,  load average: 0.11, 0.11, 0.09
Tasks:  90 total,   1 running,  89 sleeping,   0 stopped,   0 zombie
Cpu(s):  4.2%us,  1.3%sy,  0.0%ni, 92.9%id,  1.6%wa,  0.0%hi,  0.0%si,  0.0%st
Mem:    902440k total,   435468k used,   466972k free,   130760k buffers
Swap:   506008k total,        0k used,   506008k free,   158768k cached

dmesg shows nothing.
What should i do? Any kernel options I must have omited?
HP laptops always used to be quite linux compatible (more or less), thats why it made me a little bit confused .

Have you set CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G in your kernel config?

Processor type and features ---> High Memory Support ---> 4GB
