Can't find my mail

i'm not even sure it's working at all - since the 'mail' app i'm used to (you know, the one that runs on a mandrake or redhat system when you type in 'mail') doesn't seem to exist (type mail and get ... silence. i think it's a mail prog, since it seems to terminate when a line has only a '.' on it)

But the thing is, my mail queue seems (seemed) to have a couple of messages in it, but i'll be damned if i can find where my spool or maildir is located. i have postfix installed, if it helps, but there seems to be nothing in /var/spool/mail 'cept a file called .keep

Can someone help me here?

Your mail is stored under ~/.maildir
