Everytime when I su to root and try to use some graphic program, it always give me an error "Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server. Xlib: No protocol specified". Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
Thanks. |

Along with kanuslupus' answer, another way to do this without invoking xhost is to copy the .Xauthority file from the home directory of the user that started X to the home directory of the user as whom you are trying to execute things - /root in this case. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
