That's weird, as lmms doesn't depend on ffado in any way. Maybe some dependency pulled it in, like jack.

Thanks. I emerged gscanbus. Aa regular user, I get "couldn't set port: Invalid argument". As root, the GUI comes up but it says that nothing is connected to either port when my Mackie is connected and turned on.

Very puzzled. Mackie Onyx mixers with Firewire cards are in the list of supported devices for FFADO. Did I overlook something?

Is it possible the firewire card I have isn't right for the Onyx? If so, how would I determine this?
