yaboot-static masked on PPC64

Hi,
i'm trying to install Gentoo 2008.0 on an IBM RS/6000 44P Model 170.
I've followed the installation guide and everything was ok until the time when I must install yaboot-static (the only bootloader available for IBM hardware, as the guide says).
Unfortunately, the command "emerge --update yaboot-static" produces the following output:

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "sys-boot/yaboot-static" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- sys-boot/yaboot-static-1.3.14 (masked by: missing keyword)

May you help me please?
