When I log in I get a message about session lasted less than 10 seconds and this in .xession-errors file

/etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
/etc/X11/gdm/Xsession: Setup done, will execute: /usr/bin/ssh-agent -- gnome-session
mkdtemp: private socket dir: Too many links

Can't find anything helpful on google, always worrying...any help appreciated, cheers.

Solved this by e2fsck (ing) the /tmp directory. Problem was not being able to create a new directory in /tmp
