I'm planning to go wireless at home. Which WLAN card is known to be well supported by linux? Maybe even by the default gentoo kernel? Suggestions please
ps: price and speed does not matter, I don't mind if it is 11 or 54 MBit/s. _________________ "As your attorney, I advise you to drive at top speed. It'll be a goddamn miracle if we can get there before you turn into a wild animal." |

I'm using a 3com PCI Wlan card based on the Prism2 chipsett. It's 11mbps, works like a dream with encryption and everything. Don't remember the exact model-number, but I guess it's sold for $100 +/- so it shouldn't be to hard to find. |

Thanks for your input. Do you remember if it was supported by the gentoo installation kernel? _________________ "As your attorney, I advise you to drive at top speed. It'll be a goddamn miracle if we can get there before you turn into a wild animal." |
