|
|
Hi
On my machine i used to ftp files with sizes like 16G without problems.
Since my last emerge (last week) ftp stops after transferring 2G.
However, with lftp it is still possible to transfer large files.
On the other hand, standard ftp from a fedora machine can handle
large files, too.
I would prefer using ftp because lftp has problems with semicolons ';' in
names as are common on VMS systems.
Question:
- is there some configuration file which sets the file size limit for the ftp client?
Thank you

as far as I know a limit like that would be either the config in the receiving ftp server or the filesystem being written to. |
