Gnome 2.22.3 Pop-under

Hi,

I've noticed that when I open a good number of windows, any new top-level windows being created do not receive the focus upon their creation.

I can use the window-selector applet or alt-tab to the new window, but it will not appear above all the other windows at launch like it should.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I've figured out it's NOT Gnome that is the problem, more likely it's Metacity.

It doesn't have to do with the number of windows that are open: it's a question of using the always-on-top attribute!

If I enable always-on-top on any window, the bug appears, no matter how many windows are open and the bug disappears if I remove the always-on-top attribute(s) from any and all windows using it.
