Hi,

I emerged kopete but i ran into a bug. So i contacted one of the developers and he needs debug info. Unfortanatly kopete was installed without debug on.
Is there a way to re-emerge, but this time with debug on? Or do i have to compile it myself?
Thanx for any suggestions....

Do you mean the ebuild failed to compile, or is kopete crashing?

What "bug"? You may not have to recompile in debug mode.

My question to developer:
When connetcting to MSN using kopete 4.1 i get:
Unhandled MSN error code 219 (in response to transaction ID 6).
This happens when i try to block a user from my list (BTW same error occurs
when i accept this user).

written by developer:
From http://www.hypothetic.org/docs/msn/basics.php :
219 - User is in the opposite list
Somehow you try to block a user that is already in the allow list, or allow a
user that is already in the block list.

The strange thing is that for you it apparently *always* happens and not for
only allow or block.

If your Kopete supports debug info, could you start Kopete from the command
line (with only the MSN plugin enabled to keep the log clean) and mail me the
output? [/b]
