|
|
Im installing gentoo 2008 in a SATA disk, partitioned in the following way: sda1 winxp, sda2 for boot, sda3 for /. The partitions were created with graphical installer, but it failed when tried to install the kernel, so I had to continue installation manually.
My grub line looks like this:
root (hd0,1)
kernel /boot/bzImage root=/dev/sda3
When I boot I get this error:
fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/ROOT
/dev/ROOT:
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem.
sda3 contains files and I can access it properly. Can somebody see the problem here or do I need to install again? _________________ Game programming news for newbies | The Ark, making an RPG the right way! |
