Plenty o' folks at work do, but I don't like to install software till it actually releases, or is getting very close. I have IE8 beta 2 and Silverlight 2 beta 2, but everything else either goes into a VM or not at all.

I'm sure you have a linux distro around somewhere... Just pop it in and boot from the cd drive! If it's ubuntu, it will install itself onto the system, configure itself, and wipe your ass when you're done

freelight wrote:

I can't remember really... If I wasn't pooping at the time, I had just finished! And, of course, my laptop went with me to the bathroom!
I even wrote code once on the toilet! It was crappy code, really, just a bunch of printfs and scanfs but code nonetheless.

Guys, if you don't take your laptop to poop with you, you really don't know what you're missing
