Hi all!
I installed Gentoo to my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A 7600 laptop. The installation from livecd went smoothly and then rebooted and when I could log into my Gentoo the keyboard is gone. Nothing happens from nowwhere.I checked the instructions from linux-on-laptop.com site, and tested the "magic button", with no help.
Any suggestion what went wrong, or any special kernel parameters what I should know? _________________ i.c.c.b. |

Hi iccb,
I had the same problem (one of many ) ) but this one I got solved with the bootparameter acpi=off
if you use lilo as bootloader simply add " acpi=off" to the 'append' line...
