Hello, all, I am interested in setting up my own (well, my companies own) Gentoo HA linux cluster. I will be documenting my journey in a wiki. Anyone may participate in this wiki, including spawning off other documentation projects (so long as they are Gentoo related)
I know there is, at least, some vague interest in seeing a HA cluster howto for Gentoo linux, and I figure that is anyone has enough interest to help out with the project -- then by all means let them!
the wiki is at http://gha.apokalyptik.com/ -- please play nice
suggestions, comments, concerns, help -- all welcome

It's quite intriguing you posted this, because we're getting ready to launch the official Gentoo Cluster Project in a couple of weeks. The project aims to make Gentoo a desirable platform for high-performance and high-availability clustering. The project will develop documentation and support for designing and implementing clusters.
Interested parties, please join us in #gentoo-cluster on irc.freenode.net.
Edit: We officially kicked off the project at LWE August 5. Our homepage is http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/cluster/. |
