Salut tout le monde, j'aimerais savoir si certains ont testé ceux de notre ami Daniel Robbins, surtout ceux qui viennent avec GCC 4.3,du genre ceux pour les core32 ou core64.

Si c'est le cas, j'aimerais savoir si le répertoire /etc/portage existe déjà, car selon moi oui, puisque le Stage a été créé avec des versions testing des packages.

Pour le reste, est-ce que vous avez vu une différence par rapport à ceux de Gentoo.org ?

Je les utilise tout le temps depuis un bon bout de temps.

Il n'y a pas d'/etc/portage car ces stages ne sont pas construits avec des paquets testing. Il prend juste le stage de base gentoo, mets à jour portage et met à jour le stage: rien de plus stable.

C'est récent, mais il a aussi des versions instables ;)

Ok, je reponse ma question d'une autre manière : http://www.funtoo.org/linux/core32/

C'est un Stage optimisé pour les Core2 32 bits. Ce genre de truc doit demander Gcc 4.2 ou 4.3 avec le march à native je pense.

Donc, il doit bien faire un tour de passe passe pour installer ça convenablement.

oui d'ailleurs qqlq a noté des différences de perf entre le flag -native apparu avec gcc-4.2 (qui envoie du march et du mtune donc pas forcemment utile à tout le monde) et le flag core2 apparu avec gcc-4.3 ?

J'espère que ça améliore les performances, car j'aimerais bien passer à Gcc 4.3 et ne pas installer Gcc 4.2 pour rien.

J'ai cherché mais pas trouvé alors que cela m'interesse grandement.

une url dans le coin en ~amd64 ? :p

La vache, je ne savais même pas qu'ils existaient ceux-là ! Enfin c'est super récent cet ajout : 19 aout pour les premier build en ~amd64. Bon à savoir en tout cas.
