Hello,
After reading the gentoo-wiki and some informations about supported tablets in gentoo I bought a wacom bamboo one tablet.
I also followed the howto http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Wacom_Tablet emerging linuxwacom0.7.8_p3-r2 package and then re-compiling my 2.6.18 kernel.
I run modprobe wacom and dmesg shows
Code:

usbcore: registered new driver wacom
drivers/usb/input/wacom.c: v1.45:USB Wacom Graphire and Wacom Intuos tablet driver
usb 5-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6
usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

but I think kernel doesn't recognise the tablet because /proc/bus/input/devices does not include it :(

I'd be very gradeful for any tips and help...
Maybe someone has already made it work and could help me :)
