|
|
I have noticed recently that these two keys now function the same in that pressing SysRq takes a screenshot instead of how it is supposed to function.
I have the PrtSc mapped to scrot through the keybindings option within compiz fusion (running compiz fusion standalone for a window manager/desktop)
I have evdev as my keyboard driver in xorg.conf
And I have the enable Magic SysRq kernel option compiled in.
I have tried booting into Fluxbox, where there are no keybindings set, and both keys simply do nothing.
I have tried changing the keyboard driver to "kbd" with no change to behavior.
This is not of huge importance, and I only noticed this the other day when 'telinit 0' refused to shutdown my system, but would prefer to have this resolved.
If anyone on this forum can offer up a suggestion, I would be much appreciative.
Thanks. |

yes....
wait....
well i dont want to reboot now to make sure, but i just tried again with alt, and no screenshot..
though i am quite positive i was holding alt before...and before I could even start the r-e-i-s-u-b sequence, the window notification thing alerted i had taken several screenshots. SysRq by itself still activates scrot....
i dont know nor do i know about that emoticon... |
