hello,
when i try to build php-4.3.2 on a specific machine is get the following error:
--begin--
checking for fopencookie... yes
configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling
!!! ERROR: dev-php/php-4.3.2-r2 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 320, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed
--end--
and emerge stops right there.
is this a known problem and is there a solution?

ive read some dupe-bug reports and someone sugested revdep-rebuild there, that did the trick for me

Worked for me.
Now I'm stuck because emerge can't find a working download mirror for phpmyadmin, but that's another story.
