You should check if there is a resource conflict between the wireless lan card and your grapics hardware or the X11 system. To do
1) no X, just your wireless card and PCMCIA I assume: look wich irq's, dma's and ports have been assigned to your card.
2) no wireless card, no PCMCIA, but X11: look again for irqs, dma's and ports
How to look:
cat /proc/interrupts
cat /proc/dma
less -S /var/log/messages
dmesg | less
And next time we need some more info: What computer, what hardware and what software is involved (versions of pcmcia, X11, kernel, network driver etc.), maybe some excerpt of the messages file or from lspci etc.
