une rapide recherche sur le net suggère que c'est simple, mais non, c'est pas simple.

Je suis sous Xfce4, je charge mes fichiers depuis l'interface graphique de mplayer (mplayer -gui) ou bien même depuis un terminal, eh bien rien à faire, xscreensaver se lance toujours :'(

Pourtant, dans ~/.mplayer/config : stop-xscreensaver=1
dans ~/.mplayer/gui.conf : stopxscreensaver = "yes"

et mplayer est bien compilé avec le support xscreensaver...

Comment faire en sorte que l'economiseur d'écran ne s'allume pas pendant la lecture d'un film? Merci pour vos précisions :)

le problème est que ca va me désactiver le screensaver et le dpms tout le temps, et pas juste lors de la lecture du film.
Je pourrais éventuellement créer un script de lancement qui désactiverait tout ce beans pendant l'execution de mplayer et relancerait tout ça après, mais n'y a-t-il pas plus simple?

J'ai suivi ce lien http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/faq.html#dvd

qui suggère de rajouter cette ligne dans les fichiers de configuration...
