I've been going to this place for years and thought I'd share it as a great little tool:
http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/index.cgi
Run lspci -n as root and copy the output to the site above. I don't know if there is a better way to find which driver is needed for an obscure piece of hardware, but this works for me  _________________ IRC Mr_Grieves |

I just tried it, and it got about 80% of my hardware right.
I usually just grep the kernel sources when I am looking for the right driver. |
