|
|
I've been having problems trying to set up a R6 Domino Server on Gentoo. I've searched the forums and tried everything recommended such as changing the Java JDK (used black and sun) etc...
I run the server setup using "/opt/lotus/bin/server -listen" so that I can configure the server from a remote machine. I do not have KDE, gnome, etc installed so I can't use the java interface to configure on the gentoo machine.
The setup gets all the way up to the point where it creates the name and address book on the server (names.nsf) but then the server crashes when it is trying to add the Server to the Name and address book. The last message I get before the server faults is "Adding Server xxxxx to Name and Address Book"
Any help would be appreciated. I love the speed of gentoo and would rather use this than Redhat 7.2, which is currently the only supported linux type for R6. |

I did read that post, but I haven't even got to that point yet.
The server crashes during the initial setup.
I installed KDE and tried using the local (not remote) setup, and the same crash occurs. |
