As mentioned in a previous post, I did manage to merge scorched3d after manually adding the ~ppc64 keyword to the ebuild. When I try to start it, I get the following:

Code:
greg@ibm_right /etc/init.d $ scorched3d
Scorched3D - Version 41.3 (dl) : Warning: This game uses the SDL library to provide graphics.
The graphics section of this library failed to initialize.
You will only be able to run a server for this game.
debug1: client_input_channel_open: ctype x11 rchan 3 win 65536 max 16384
debug1: client_request_x11: request from 127.0.0.1 51251
debug1: channel 1: new [x11]
debug1: confirm x11

When I try to go into the Settings Mode I get this:

Code:
(scorched3d:30317): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_range_set_range: assertion `min < max' failed

(scorched3d:30317): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_range_set_range: assertion `min < max' failed

(scorched3d:30317): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_range_set_range: assertion `min < max' failed

(scorched3d:30317): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_range_set_range: assertion `min < max' failed
debug1: channel 1: FORCE input drain
debug1: channel 1: free: x11, nchannels 2
Segmentation fault

I'm not sure if any of this is due to SDL, Gtk or my make.conf settings.
Code:

I'm using these more for fun and self education than anything, so I'm experimenting with "some" "optimizations". I'm using -O3 "power3" and gcc-4.2.x. I really don't think that's the reason, though. Sure, I've been wrong before, but these settings have been stable for me so far.

Does anyone have any idea's?
