Motherboard decision

I am in the process of choosing a new Motherboard for my Athlon XP 1700. What do you recommend. I would like to upgrade to the XP 3000 range soon also I have PC3200 ram.. I was looking at NVidia NForce2. Any thoughts on this? If you do recommend the nforce2, which one. What manufacturer. Thanks all.

Personally I have a preference for Asus motherboards.
I've had very little difficulty with them and in general, they tend to be a very solid product.
