Hi,
I've downloaded a theme for KDM.
The creator of this theme is using KDM with composite (xeffects or something I g) to get transparency.
I'm using compiz as a composite manager, but I start it after kdm therefore the lattest is "unaffected"uess by transparency.
Is there a mean to get compiz working for kdm as well to get this nice transparent theme properlly working?
Thanks,

| KDE's composite manager is "kompmgr", part of "kde-base/kwin". Make sure you've emerged "kde-base/kwin" and "kde-base/kicker" with the "xcomposite" use-flag. You may also need to enable transparency and shadows in kcontrol. |

Ok thanks,
I've installed (recompile with xcomposite) both kwin and kicker, but how can I launch it for kdm ?

| Once KDE's running, you should simply be able to run "kompmgr" to turn on transparency effects. |

Mm, ok.
But it's about launching compositing after KDE is launched. But I want these effects in KDM (before KDE's launching)
