Ciao ragazzi, spero possiate aiutarmi. Ho un problema di configurazione: non so perché ma gentoo non invia l'hostname all'access point. Ho provato a googlare ma senza risultati per ora.
C'entra qualcosa con "nosendhost" che solitamente si mette in /etc/conf.d/net?

Questo è il mio, e come potete vedere non ho impostato l'interfaccia wlan0, dato che uso il comodissimo wicd

Inoltre cos'hai in /etc/hosts ?

Allora, in /etc/hosts intanto prova ad aggiustare le seguenti righe:

127.0.0.1   localhost
::1      localhost
192.168.10.1   fonera

Più o meno secondo questo schema:
Code:
127.0.0.1       manu-desktop.workgroup manu-desktop localhost
192.168.1.101   manu-desktop.workgroup manu

Al posto di workgroup metti quello che vuoi, non so, Casa ad esempio.
Al posto di 192.168.1.101 ovviamente metti l'ip del tuo pc nella sottorete..

Vediamo se ora va..
