Have searched a bit but I can't find a good place to put my http_proxy variables at startup
I have just upgraded to OpenRC/Baselayout-2

I think I had them in /etc/conf.d/rc

I tried to put it in /etc/conf.d/local
but no good

Could any one point me in the right direction...

A file in /etc/env.d/ would suffice.
