Could there be a worse Livecd tool then Catalyst

I have been a Gentoo user for several years now and can not believe that
every linux distro can make such easy livecd creation tools while Gentoo
has the worst, least user friendly tool ever created. Make no mistake about it,
Catalyst is junk from a user stand point. Catalyst is not user friendly, doesn't
work 99% of the time and is a nightmare to even figure out. To top it off the
Gentoo docs/wiki that are so renowned for excellence are the worst cryptic
mumbo jombo when it comes to Livecd/Catalyst information.

Gentoo would go a long way to make a tool available to it's users that was more
inline with the tools other distro's are using for simple livecd creation.

What ever happened to 'keep it simple stupid'
