Hi,
I'm doing an emerge -u world and when it gets to baselayout I get:
....
gcc -o init init.o init_utmp.o
* Please install sys-apps/gawk-3.1.1-r2 or later!
!!! ERROR: sys-apps/baselayout-1.8.6.8-r1 failed.
!!! Function src_compile, Line 128, Exitcode 0
!!! gawk too old
yet:
bash-2.05b# gawk --version
GNU Awk 3.1.2
and:
bash-2.05b# emerge -u gawk
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> Auto-cleaning packages ...
>>> No outdated packages were found on your system.
* GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
Why is baselayout complaining?
thanks! |

Hello,
unfortunatly, there is no solution for that problem, yet.
Try to re-merge gawk and then run your baselayout update again, that should solve the problem. |
