Hallo,
ich habe oben genannten WLAN-Chip in meinem Laptop und bekomme ihn einfach nicht zum laufen, obwohl ich diesen Anweisungen: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_ipw3945 genau gefolgt bin.
Getestet habe ich bereits beide Treiber mit den gentoo-sources-2.6.22-r10 und den kernel-internen Treiber in gentoo-sources-2.6.24-r3.
Seltsamerweise wird zwar der Treiber geladen, es gibt allerdings kein neues Netzwerkdevice. Auch ifconfig zeigt nur eth0 (meine Ethernetkarte) und Loopback an.
lspci listet "03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev 02)" auf.
Habe ich etwas falsche gemacht? Ich habe keinerlei Erfahrungen mit der Konfiguration von WLAN.
Ich möchte eine IP-Adresse per DHCP festlegen lassen und dann über den automatisch festgelegten Inet-Gateway ins Internet.
Schonmal vielen Dank im Voraus für alle hilfreichen Tipps  .

Auf den Unterschied bin ich auch gespannt, aber wlan0 funktioniert.
