I have installed multisync and synce from CVS following the instructions on the websites and I'm confident I installed everything I needed to.
I am hoping to sync my pocket pc to Evolution via multisync. I tried this morning to connect to my pocket pc for the first time. I follwed the instructions on the website and everything looked fine - until a dilaog box appeared telling me that multisync had crashed with a segmentation fault. The errors in the console are:
ReadConfigFile: stat: No such file or directory [synce_info_new:31] unable to open file: (null) [rapi_context_connect:85] Failed to get connection info
ReadConfigFile: stat: No such file or directory [synce_info_new:31] unable to open file: (null) [rapi_context_connect:85] Failed to get connection info [CeRegQueryValueEx:128] CeRegQueryValueEx returning 87 [CeRegQueryValueEx:128] CeRegQueryValueEx returning 87

Can anyone give me any help to figure this out?
Thanks in advance
Edit: as part of the install process I upgraded evolution to 1.4 (the evolution plugin insisted on it) and ever since then gnome apps have been a little shaky - I suspect this may be a part of the issue. _________________ Old School is the way forward! |
