|
|
I have a 6 in 1 USB card reader, four slots. Now i've done a search of the forums and found a lack of information (there was one topic but it wasn't very helpful) It is a Zynet reader.
It 'works' but when i try to mount a card it complains
Quote: |
# mount -t vfat /dev/sdc /mnt/flash/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdc, or too many mounted file systems
|
it does this for all the slots (sda through to sdd) even though there are cards in 2 of them (Kodak compact flash and smart media)
getting my scsi information from /proc/scsi/scsi shows that the device is attached and is recognised.

EDIT - i think i know the problem... the card is 'unformatted' (it's a lexar media card) any ideas on how to read it? |
