Hy,

take a look at Suse Exchange Server (SLOX)
http://www.suse.com/us/business/products/suse_business/openexchange/index.html

It includes Internet Gateway, Firewall, Mail, Webfrontend for Mail, Calendar, Project Management (light), smb server, backup solution on cd, acts like a Exchange server for exchange, virus solution ...........

It is very easy to use and to administrate. So the price is really worth it. And it's still Linux.

SUSE is the larges Linux Distributor in Europe, so they are very experienced.

Cheers JJ

OpenExchange look pretty good. But have you seen the price?.....its 1,249.00 US.
Almost the same price that Ms Exchange.
Its way too much expensive :( . I didnt count the licence ( US $ 249.00 for 5 licences)

Quote:
SuSE Linux Openexchange Server 4

Base license with ten groupware clients and an unlimited number of external e- mail clients (POP3/IMAP). The use of a web mail client requires a groupware user license.
US $ 1,249.00

You have ten clients included in the server. US $ 249.00 for 5 licences is only for ANOTHER 5 licences, that would be 15 licences.
The question is, what you are using else from this server, because it's much much much more than an exchange server. And the price for an Exchange server with the win 200 server licence is much higher.

So, if you just looking for an EMail Server, the proce is a little bit high.

Cheers JJ
