|
|
Hey all
I have installed Gentoo for Sparc 1.4rc4 - and I emerged "Tomcat" to install the Apache JSP app server.
However, after the install - I ran rc-update add tomcat default and it seemed to work, but tomcat does not seem to automatically load.
If I manually run the Tomcat start script (catalina.sh start) it fires up and works... but how do I get that happening at boot time?
Ciao

you may want to poke around in the /etc/init.d/tomcat file to see that file it is launching and with what flags. i don't use tomcat, but have had to modify several /etc/init.d files in the past had similar problems
good luck _________________ katana root # cat /proc/sys/kernel/osrelease
